President and Chief Executive Officer
Hector M. Gomez founded Building Safety Solutions in 2001. He directs and executes the company’s day-to-day operations, with a focus on strategy, leadership, innovation, and customers. Mr. Gomez is responsible for the product and market diversification that BSS has achieved in the last few years, which has positioned the company for significant growth and value creation.
Mr. Gomez is an experienced entrepreneur who is not only committed to business excellence, but to making a difference in communities by saving and protecting lives. His professional background includes extensive experience in sales, product, finance, and operations. Immediately prior to starting BSS, he was the Chief Operating Officer of a nationwide architectural and engineering due diligence provider. Earlier, he held management positions at various companies. Mr. Gomez began his professional career with Arthur Young & Co. (now Ernst & Young).
Mr. Gomez received his Master of Business Administration from the Marshall School at the University of Southern California and his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Claremont Men’s College.
